Farmcrowdy has emerged the winner of the Digital Business Of The Year Award at the just concluded Global African Business Award ceremony held on Friday, July 13th 2018 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Ethiopia, Addis Ababa.
It was indeed an exciting moment for Farmcrowdy, Nigeria’s 1st digital agricultural platform which is focused on connecting farm sponsors with real farmers in order to increase food production in Agriculture.
The Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder, Jimoh Maiyegun with the award at the event yesterday.
They were shortlisted alongside some of the largest brands and digital agencies in Africa for the award and eventually emerged the winner after series of voting which lasted for a few months.
The GABA – Global African Business Awards is an annual awards ceremony that celebrates the achievements of top entrepreneurs and businesses from the continent of Africa as well as the diaspora globally.
It is a big win for the agricultural sector in Nigeria as this implies that there is a visible growth in this space and it is gradually been recognized, not just in Nigeria but around the world.
