Coccidiosis is a disease of a few livestock. It not limited to poultry alone. It is caused by quite a number of Emeira spa known as "protozoan".
However deadly it is, it can be totally suppressed by the use of sodium bicarbonate (also known as baking soda) in feed at all times without any negative effect on the consumer, unlike conventional drugs.
One of the obvious reasons for its (baking soda ) ability to suppress the protozoan is because it creates an alkaline environment in-vivo in which the causative organisms can not thrive. It is not species specific to other coccidiostats and it's much more affordable.
Have you ever tried it?
